Vinyasa flow
Description
Breathe, Feel, Flow is a Kripalu vinyasa yoga immersion for people who want a weekend of breath-centered movement, meditation and rest at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. It is led by Kripalu faculty member Pilin Anice and is open to practitioners of all levels, from those returning to practice to those with years on the mat.
The weekend treats vinyasa as a moving meditation, guided by breath and intuition. It is a residential yoga retreat in the Berkshires, with meals, lodging and daily classes woven into one steady rhythm.
What to Expect
Pilin Anice guides the group through the interplay of stillness and motion, grounding and expansion, intention and release. The practice draws on breath-led movement, pranayama (breath practices), meditation and reflective exploration. The aim is to reconnect with the body's wisdom and the heart's clarity, with support through moments of challenge, discovery and deep restoration. Time together as a community, in shared practice and inspiration, is part of the design.
The days follow a clear shape:
- Opening day: check-in begins at 2:00 pm, followed by a Kripalu Yoga class from 4:45 to 6:00, dinner, and an evening program session from 7:30 to 9:00.
- Full days: Kripalu Yoga class from 6:30 to 7:45 am, silent breakfast, a program session from 9:00 to 11:30, lunch, another program session from 1:30 to 4:00, then a Kripalu Yoga class from 4:45 to 6:00 and dinner.
- Closing day: morning yoga class, silent breakfast, a final program session from 9:00 to 11:00, and lunch before departure.
Guests can take part in more than ten yoga classes over the stay. Exact times and room locations may shift, and the schedule given at check-in has the final word.
About Pilin Anice
Pilin Anice is a yoga teacher and a member of the Kripalu faculty, and she leads every session of this immersion. Her teaching here centers on vinyasa as a pathway to presence, vitality and inner connection, offered with compassionate and empowering guidance.
The Setting
Kripalu sits in Stockbridge, in western Massachusetts, and guests have access to the grounds throughout the stay. Accommodations are intentionally simple, meant to help you unplug and feel grounded. You can choose a private single-occupancy room for solitude, or a shared community-style dormitory room that fosters connection. Rooms are ready by 4:00 pm, and a luggage room holds bags until then.
Three nutritious vegetarian meals are served each day, and breakfast is taken in silence. On the final morning, room check-out is at 10:00 am, but you may stay on campus and join workshops until 2:00 pm.
Before You Go
The immersion welcomes all experience levels. Classes are guided by a Kripalu faculty member and offer modifications and variations to meet individual needs. The program is taught in English and follows the Kripalu Yoga tradition.
Tuition includes program sessions with Pilin Anice, daily yoga classes, three meals a day, lodging for the duration and access to the grounds. Healing Arts sessions, which complement the program, and purchases from the Kripalu Shop and Cafe are extra, as is ground transportation. If the program is full, a waitlist is available.
