Urban retreat, coaching and day spa on Alte Allee in Munich
At Alte Allee 13 in Munich, r|auszeit runs what it calls its Mental- and Private-SPA. The idea behind it is stated plainly: a place in the city, with atmosphere, quiet and the right energy for a retreat, and no long journey to reach it. Retreat days are single or recurring weekdays rather than a week away from home, held in the day spa or out in nature.
The work is guided by Biggi Kaspar, who is named as author of the workshop listings. Her coaching and couples counselling can happen indoors or outdoors, and the client chooses which. She draws on a range of methods for mind and body, and the practice's own line is "Bewusst. Sein. Erleben."
The retreat formats are specific. The Wohlfühl-Retreat fills a Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 16:00 with reflection, sound meditations, rituals for letting go, forest bathing and a tea ceremony. It includes three 50-minute Ayurveda massages and three coaching sessions in the afternoons, and costs 590 euros. The Urban-Retreat, "Die Reise in Dein Innenleben", runs over three Mondays with a group of no more than six. Days one and two combine a sound ritual, yoga, meditation, massage and coaching. Day three moves to nature coaching, outdoors when the weather allows.
Smaller evenings sit alongside these. An Ayurveda retreat for up to five people opens with a guided sound meditation, determines each guest's constitution type and centres on a 45-minute oil massage. Elsewhere the pages list singing-bowl meditation with massage packages, nature and coaching for children, self-care workshops on stress, family systems and the inner child, and rooms for hire.
