During a live Easter 2020 event, don Miguel Ruiz, his son don Jose Ruiz, and his grandson don Miguel Ruiz Jr. offer practical and philosophical tools for understanding crisis as an opportunity for spiritual transformation. Rather than viewing the pandemic as pure calamity, they frame it as a moment to reevaluate priorities, heal the relationship between mind and heart, release beliefs that cause suffering, and recognize that love and God are synonymous—the fundamental principle animating all existence. Their central message: adaptation, gratitude, and inner healing create the conditions for both personal resurrection and collective evolution.

How Do We Understand Crisis as an Opportunity Rather Than Catastrophe?

Don Miguel Ruiz opens by acknowledging the fear and chaos of the pandemic moment, yet insists that throughout human history, crises have catalyzed profound shifts in the collective dream. Rather than asking "What are we going to do about this?" he reframes the question: "Let's adapt to the circumstances. Let's change with the world as fast as life is changing and shifting." This adaptation is not resignation but active recalibration. The crisis, he suggests, interrupts habitual patterns and creates space to examine what we genuinely value—and what no longer serves us.

He identifies a cascading hierarchy of priorities worth reconsidering during such a moment. The first is the body as home: "I live in this body and I see my physical body as a sanctuary where I have my personal heaven." From there, the circle expands to family (children, parents, beloved), the house itself as shelter, and the broader city as shared home. This reordering is not selfish; rather, it clarifies that care begins intimately and radiates outward. When we neglect our inner house, we cannot authentically tend to the outer world. The crisis strips away pretense and forces this recognition.

What Role Does Gratitude Play in Navigating Fear and Loss?

Gratitude, for don Miguel Ruiz, is not passive positivity but a conscious act of presence. He emphasizes: "It is time to be grateful once again to have the gratitude first because we still have life because we have the opportunity to make something different—to share, to give, and to receive." Gratitude acknowledges that despite mortality and suffering, the fact of being alive remains remarkable. This stance does not deny death or pain; instead, it holds both truths simultaneously. Yes, people will die. Yes, there is fear. And simultaneously, those who survive will witness a historic moment, and even now, while alive, we have agency to shape our experience.

He frames the crisis as a purification: "This will purify humanity, will purify us, and we should be grateful to be part of that change, in whatever duration or life goes." This is a deeply non-trivial claim. Rather than viewing loss as purely negative, he invites us to consider whether the stripping away of superficial structures might serve evolution—for the planet, for societies, and for individuals. Gratitude, then, becomes the psychological posture that allows us to extract meaning from upheaval.

How Does Healing the Inner Relationship Transform All Other Relationships?

Don Miguel Ruiz Jr. deepens the teaching by introducing the central question: "If the voice that is stuck inside your own mind is listening and answering 'I am,' really you're the one talking, listening, and then who's talking? At your own mind, I said 'I am.'" This inquiry reveals the structure of the individual dream—the relationship between self and self, between mind and heart, between left and right hemispheres. If this internal dialogue is fractured, conditional, or dominated by internalized voices of others, all external relationships suffer the same fracturing.

The work, then, begins with recognizing how conditional love has domesticated the mind. Don Miguel Jr. explains: "My mind continued to believe in conditional love. My mind continued to believe in all the imposing subjugation—all those thoughts, all those beliefs. All those things they make me pretend to be something I am not." This domestication is the inheritance of every child raised in human society: the gradual substitution of authentic desire with internalized demands. The path forward requires acknowledging this hurt without remaining trapped in blame.

The pivot point is a "moment of clarity followed by action"—not merely a passing thought, but a decision to cease the internal war. Don Miguel Jr. calls this the "resurrection": the recognition that "I am alive. Yes, one day this body as engaging you right now will no longer be here, but the difference between a dead object and the person I see right now is that I am alive." As long as life persists, healing is possible. And once the individual heals that inner relationship—the conversation between mind and heart—all other relationships begin to experience that same healing, because the person is no longer projecting their unhealed wound onto others.

What Does It Mean That Love and God Are Synonymous?

Don Miguel Ruiz articulates a non-dogmatic spirituality: "I pull it God, not in the images that many people praise to us, but the real one—the one who moves everything, the one who is creating, the one who is gleaming our beautiful planet Earth." He is not speaking of a distant patriarch but of the animating principle, the creative force itself. Love, in this framework, is not sentiment but the fundamental coherence holding existence together.

This equivalence—love = God = life—dissolves the false separation between the sacred and the ordinary. Every act of genuine connection, every moment of authentic presence, every choice to honor another being is an expression of this principle. When don Miguel Jr. says "at the apex of my training, my father told me go home, conquer death by becoming alive," he means: stop sleepwalking through existence, stop treating others as obstacles, stop defending a false self. Becoming alive means aligning with the force that already sustains you.

What Is the Relationship Between Fear of Death and Quality of Living?

Don Miguel Jr. makes a striking claim: "Death is not the biggest fear we have, but living." At first paradoxical, this makes sense when unpacked. The deepest fear is not non-existence but the accountability and responsibility that authentic living demands. To truly live is to make choices, to risk being seen, to potentially fail or disappoint or suffer. Many spend their energy avoiding this deeper fear by remaining small, controlled, compliant. The pandemic, by stripping away routine, forces this confrontation.

He continues: "In that moment in time, the choices we make, the impacts, what we feel, what we experience—we can create the most perfect nightmare or the most harmonious dream." This is neither magical thinking nor determinism but a recognition of the mind's role in reality construction. The virus is real, loss is real, but our relationship to these facts—our narrative, our choices about where to direct energy—shapes whether we amplify fear or cultivate resilience.

Why Does the Crisis Demand a Shift in How We Relate to Collective Mortality?

Don Miguel Jr. addresses a pain specific to modern consciousness: grief rooted in denial. "The experience of grief is because we didn't allow the society to continue the narrative—the view we put on the masks." We have been taught to deny death, to treat it as a failure of medicine or personal willpower rather than a structural fact of existence. The pandemic makes collective denial impossible. Millions face mortality directly. This forced acknowledgment, while devastating, also offers an unexpected gift: the opportunity to integrate mortality into a mature worldview rather than dissociate from it.

He also names the cost of false separation: "We have the same number as us, but... we support the people on top of the 2%." The pandemic exposes inequality. Those with resources isolate safely; those without must risk. Yet this exposure also creates possibility. Don Miguel Jr. calls for genuine care: "Reach out, call—not just post something on social media." This is not guilt but a recognition that healing the inner relationship demands healing social relationships, which demands acting on interdependence.

What Is the Resurrection of Humanity?

Both don Miguel Ruiz and his son point toward a collective resurrection—not religious resurrection but the capacity to be born anew into a different way of being. Don Miguel Jr. states: "The resurrection of humanity is the ability to accept the fact of our mortality and the mortality of all those we love." This acceptance is not pessimistic; it is liberating. Once we stop fighting the fact that all things end, we can choose to be present while they exist. We can prioritize differently. We can love more freely.

At the same time, "as long as there is life, everything is possible—including healing from the wounds that conditional love left in my heart and in my mind." The resurrection is also an active practice: the daily choice to shed beliefs that don't serve, to speak truth, to extend genuine compassion rather than playing roles. This requires what he calls "the redemption of the mind"—taking back the authority that was colonized by others' expectations and using it to author one's own reality.

The deeper teaching is that such redemption spreads. When one person stops performing and starts being, when one person heals the war between mind and heart, the field shifts. Others perceive the difference. Some begin to question their own performance. In this way, individual awakening is not selfish but subversive of the systems that maintain collective suffering.

Where to Go From Here

The Ruiz family does not offer a step-by-step protocol but an invitation to three linked practices: First, use crisis as a mirror. Stop and ask what truly matters—not what you've been told should matter. Where are your actual priorities? Second, begin the inner work. Notice the voices in your head that are not your own. Recognize where you've accepted conditional love as normal. Make the decision to stop fighting yourself. And third, let that healing radiate. Call someone. Show up. Recognize that everyone around you is also mortal, also struggling, also worthy of genuine presence. Love, don Miguel Ruiz reminds us, is not a scarce resource that depletes when shared—it is the animating principle itself, always available, always creative. The question is not whether love exists but whether we will align ourselves with it.

[0:00] well good morning everyone how are you

[0:02] doing today is Easter Sunday April 12

[0:07] 2020 thank you so much for being on this

[0:09] program as you saw the last nine minutes

[0:11] we were trying to figure out a way to

[0:13] also bring it the live stream to our

[0:16] Facebook but that didn't work as it

[0:19] worked yesterday but my assumption

[0:21] Tomic assumptions but still is that I

[0:24] think we're not the only people using

[0:25] zoom and bring it into Facebook and

[0:28] there's a cloud of people so here we go

[0:31] plus I know Jose is logged in I can see

[0:34] that he is in there and I can't see him

[0:38] for some reason he's not showing up on

[0:43] and the thing and the thing so like to

[0:46] say yesterday it all worked perfectly it

[0:48] all worked alright but here we go

[0:52] Easter but new to me

[0:56] because yes me to eat

[1:00] and

[1:03] you

[1:09] okay now start okay okay well hello

[1:22] everyone is yes I have to apologize for

[1:25] all these interruptions that works but

[1:32] anyway we are here and I think this is

[1:35] the most important first I have to say

[1:39] thanks to all of you to be so kind and

[1:42] to be with us today this time I see the

[1:48] entire world in a completely different

[1:51] way you know

[1:53] it's happened so many times in the story

[1:55] humanity that they are crisis and that

[2:00] change the duration of the human dream

[2:04] and this is exactly what is happening

[2:07] right now something completely

[2:10] unexpected

[2:11] it becomes into a world and start

[2:16] shooting

[2:18] then people ask what like what are we

[2:20] gonna do about that and I will say well

[2:23] less not too happy let's adapt to the

[2:28] circumstances

[2:30] let's change with the world let's change

[2:32] as fast as life is changing and shifting

[2:36] we can adapt to any circumstance we have

[2:42] so many habits to read her or her life

[2:44] and perhaps this is the time to start

[2:47] changing those habits to start going

[2:49] more into herself and see what is what

[2:52] we don't like about ourselves and it's

[2:54] our shift in a start cheating we we

[2:57] start to see with different eyes all the

[2:59] people that love us all the people that

[3:02] we love it really appreciate this whole

[3:05] thing time that we have been alive in

[3:09] this beautiful and wonderful world

[3:11] nature is wonderful and we can

[3:14] understand of course that the earth is

[3:18] changing itself is healing itself for

[3:22] who knows whatever we humans need or

[3:25] just is a change that happened in just

[3:28] beautiful living being that is the earth

[3:33] assistant for us to start shifted or

[3:35] priorities in to understand where are

[3:38] our priorities and obviously the first

[3:42] priority is home

[3:45] in my case this body is my home

[3:49] I live in this body

[3:53] in for so long I see my physical body as

[3:56] a century where I have my personal

[4:01] heaven

[4:04] then finally the people who live with us

[4:10] or children or parents or beloved

[4:17] Janice does also her home our family is

[4:21] also our home the house where we live is

[4:25] our home it is a priority our city is

[4:31] also her home with all the people who

[4:34] live in that city

[4:37] with something like that like this is

[4:39] happening we can start seeing everybody

[4:42] around us with a different eyes and see

[4:46] the beauty of the transformation because

[4:48] yes there's a lot of fear people are

[4:52] scared but I can assure you many of us

[4:56] will survive and this will be a historic

[4:59] moment that will be remember forever and

[5:04] we are living this historical moment we

[5:09] are witness it you know it looks like

[5:12] chaos that's true but is also an

[5:17] opportunity opportunity to see our

[5:21] iterations in a completely different way

[5:23] or beliefs in a different way to let go

[5:26] everything that it was really hurting

[5:28] ourselves the hurt our family hurting

[5:32] our country protein the planet Earth

[5:34] that was also her home perhaps we will

[5:38] start using respect it was the respect

[5:42] in everything everything that exists

[5:44] around us as well as we respect

[5:47] ourselves as we respect our thoughts or

[5:49] theories

[5:50] yes is a time for a change

[5:54] and perhaps humanity never will be the

[5:57] same or at least not for a while until

[6:01] we forget what has happened in this time

[6:09] we have to understand that is always

[6:13] love

[6:15] for us is time to be grateful once again

[6:20] to have the gratitude first because we

[6:24] still life because we have the

[6:27] opportunity to make something different

[6:31] to share to give and to receive

[6:37] my brother's my sisters

[6:40] it is time for us to understand that the

[6:47] world as we know is over but the new

[6:52] world is arising let's welcome the new

[6:57] way of life yester gotta be straddles

[7:01] that's true they're gonna be dead of

[7:03] course is true but that is happening all

[7:06] the time and for many different reasons

[7:10] but these will purify humanity will

[7:15] purify us and we should be grateful to

[7:20] be part of that change in whatever

[7:22] curation or life goes

[7:27] I'm ready to dice his long time ago also

[7:30] my children they're ready to go but by

[7:35] the time times that we live we can keep

[7:37] training we can give him we can share in

[7:42] a most of all we can love remember love

[7:49] and God are synonyms

[7:52] life in God are synonymous

[7:56] current ruler synonymous yes I pull it

[8:01] God not in the images that many people

[8:06] praise to us but the real one the one

[8:10] who moves everything the one commercial

[8:13] the one who is gleaming or beautiful

[8:15] planet Earth let's be part of that

[8:18] solution let's not be part of that

[8:21] problem let's make everything easier

[8:27] let's cooperate him I told you

[8:34] this is a golden time

[8:38] enjoy yourselves for your whole life

[8:42] very few times you have the opportunity

[8:45] to really be with yourself well this is

[8:48] your opportunity and make a change in

[8:52] you because everything will change also

[8:55] even if they want it or not good morning

[9:06] happy Easter my name is Don Miguel Ruiz

[9:09] jr. I am grateful and honored to be a

[9:15] part of this family and for many years I

[9:17] learned so much for my father at the

[9:20] apex of my training my father told me go

[9:23] home

[9:24] conquer death by becoming a life he said

[9:29] that to me at the top of the pyramid of

[9:31] the Sun when he really started being

[9:33] with this with my apprenticeship with

[9:35] him to conquer death master death by

[9:40] becoming alive is becoming aware that

[9:42] death is not the biggest fear we have

[9:44] but living and in that moment in time

[9:48] the choices we make the impacts what we

[9:51] feel what we experience we can create

[9:53] the most perfect nightmare or the most

[9:55] harmonious dream but in order to create

[9:57] that most harmonious dream we begin to

[10:00] do the work that allows us to heal the

[10:03] relationship within ourselves to heal

[10:05] the relationship within ourselves my

[10:09] father often said to me if you're the

[10:11] voice that stuck inside your own mind

[10:12] was listening and answered I am all

[10:16] really you're the one talking listening

[10:19] a then who's talk it's at your own mind

[10:21] I said I am that's what my dad says

[10:24] as the individual dream the relationship

[10:26] between me and me

[10:30] the relationship between my mind and my

[10:32] heart or left hemisphere right

[10:33] hemisphere and that relationship is in

[10:36] this harmony that all my relationships

[10:37] will be in this harmony but if I heal

[10:40] this relationship then all my

[10:42] relationships begin to experience the

[10:44] healing

[10:46] to be able to open up allow comes from

[10:50] ability to heal ourselves to give us the

[10:52] permission the redemption of the act of

[10:56] domesticate er that was me my mind my

[11:00] mind a continued to believe in

[11:02] conditional love my mind a continued to

[11:04] believe in all the imposing subjugation

[11:07] all those thoughts all those beliefs

[11:09] always thing they make me pretend to be

[11:10] something I am mapped and you reached a

[11:13] point in that journey where you feel

[11:16] that pain you feel that hurt feel all

[11:18] that fear and you have a moment where

[11:21] you decide no more a moment of clarity

[11:25] without any action it's just a thought

[11:27] that passes in the wind but a moment of

[11:29] clarity followed by action becomes a

[11:31] pivotal moment in our life it is in that

[11:35] moment where the resurrection comes in

[11:39] which is I am alive yes one day this

[11:43] body as engaging you right now will no

[11:45] longer be here it'll become an inanimate

[11:48] object could be tonight in a year or in

[11:51] 73 years the difference between Nadia an

[11:54] object that this body will be and the

[11:57] person I see right now is that I am

[11:59] Alive and for as long as I'm alive

[12:01] everything is possible including healing

[12:04] from the wounds that conditional love

[12:05] left in my heart and in my mind and I

[12:08] begin to heal that and I begin that once

[12:12] I have that I begin to heal all my

[12:15] relationships and that is the beautiful

[12:18] thing

[12:21] the resurrection of the mind or you can

[12:24] call it the redemption of the mind

[12:27] right now we're living in a time where

[12:30] this virus has brought us aware not only

[12:34] of our mortality but of the mortality of

[12:37] everyone in our life every single one of

[12:40] us will eventually hit that marker the

[12:45] beautiful thing about accepting our own

[12:46] death is that why worry about a moment

[12:50] that's going to come that day is not

[12:52] today

[12:54] and I'm afraid for that life is saying

[12:56] yes to me right now

[12:57] and when I realize that about me I'm

[12:59] able to realize about everyone in my

[13:01] life yes one day they will all die but

[13:04] not today like they say in Game of

[13:07] Thrones

[13:08] but you tell the Angel of Death not

[13:10] today like very much so right papa right

[13:21] the resale allows us to accept the

[13:24] mortality of the people we love is that

[13:27] we embrace that there are alive right

[13:29] now at this very moment there are live

[13:33] right now to create new memories

[13:37] they're alive right now to heal whatever

[13:41] risk there was between us and becoming

[13:43] aware that the only thing that separated

[13:45] us was a point of view

[13:47] the thing about accepting our mortality

[13:50] is that allows us not to take for

[13:53] granted

[13:57] everything we have in his past hundred

[14:00] years we've taken for granted so many

[14:02] things because of the marvels of modern

[14:03] medicine but even though we live in a

[14:07] first world country nature still wins

[14:11] life still wins

[14:15] the flow of everything if we accept that

[14:20] mortality

[14:22] and that fear will not blind us because

[14:28] we're together

[14:31] together everything is possible in fact

[14:34] right now we are staying at home in

[14:36] isolation because we're taking care of

[14:40] one another

[14:41] this virus based on what I've read has a

[14:43] 98% recovery rate that means that 1 to

[14:48] 2% is a mortality rate so from that

[14:52] point of view the 98% is taking care of

[14:56] the 2%

[14:59] that's community

[15:03] that is family we take care of one

[15:06] another and yes the rub is that we don't

[15:09] know if we've fall into that 2% 1% or

[15:12] 98% people have recovered some people

[15:17] have not and for those who have not my

[15:19] deepest condolences to the people who

[15:21] had experienced the pain we experienced

[15:24] grief because we loved if we didn't

[15:30] experience grief is because we didn't

[15:32] love and that's the beauty of it love

[15:36] allows us to give the best of one

[15:40] another to share with one another so

[15:44] right now see it this way yes we're

[15:47] putting on that mask

[15:48] yes we're staying at home isolated and

[15:51] we're taking care of the people who are

[15:53] allowing the society to continue the

[15:55] doctors the nurses the grocery PR

[15:58] workers the deliverers the people who

[16:03] prepare our foods all those essential

[16:04] jobs we say thank you to you thank you

[16:09] for all those people who are making all

[16:11] this possible and we do our part in this

[16:15] way if you see it from this point of

[16:17] view we put on the masks not just to

[16:22] protect our life

[16:25] of other people while we wash our hands

[16:28] for the same thing

[16:31] we stay at distance yes eventually

[16:36] buyers will come in it's all as life

[16:41] will always come in accepting that we

[16:45] can look at the world through the worst

[16:47] nightmare we can hoard all the toilet

[16:51] paper we want because we fear what's up

[16:54] for some reason we're gonna run out or

[16:57] we can share with one another be there

[17:01] for one another take only what we mean

[17:05] give what we can that's community

[17:12] from that point of view Easter Sunday

[17:14] but not the day of resurrection is the

[17:17] resurrection of the humanity ability to

[17:23] commune a society created by mutual

[17:27] respect compassion

[17:33] you

[17:35] let's not let fear blind us from each

[17:38] other's humanity don't let fear

[17:44] thank you from living lives at this very

[17:48] moment right now you are alive and for

[17:53] as long as there is life everything is

[17:57] possible

[17:57] a hundred years ago the Spanish flu took

[18:03] its impact on the world it came at the

[18:07] end of World War 1 but here in the

[18:12] States after the Spanish flu the Roaring

[18:16] Twenties came in

[18:21] nine billion who lived like 19 so 1919

[18:27] to 7.5 billion so 1.9 billion to 7.5

[18:33] billion we definitely grew let's take

[18:38] care of one another we're a huge family

[18:42] that speaks different languages comes

[18:45] from different cultures different

[18:47] religions different Creed's different

[18:50] races genders ages the resurrection of

[18:59] compassion and love a 98% is taking care

[19:06] of the 2% and we support the people on

[19:10] the front lines that are helping so many

[19:13] of those people in it not 2%

[19:19] without in mind

[19:22] again I said thank you

[19:25] let love be the motivator that allows us

[19:31] to create a community based in harmony

[19:35] based in abundance based on enough

[19:42] Jose I know you're listening my brother

[19:47] is here and all he has to do and

[19:50] hopefully this will work

[19:52] to bring them onto the screen I push all

[19:56] the right buttons from yesterday but for

[19:59] some reason it's not working I'll say

[20:05] I love you very much I wish I could see

[20:09] you right now yes I'll say

[20:18] settings I did everything doing one last

[20:23] trying to get my brother into this video

[20:25] he say is in San Diego my father and I

[20:28] are in Reno Nevada

[20:33] know anything's what are you gonna say

[20:36] Papa I can't

[20:38] well I will use process boys I got a

[20:44] channel Jose my dearest son you just to

[20:52] tell you love at the time of Corona how

[21:00] we love each other

[21:02] well let's start for loving cruda my god

[21:08] he is not really an enemy he is alive I

[21:12] had the right of your life in his

[21:15] cleansing his shifting and it gave us an

[21:19] opportunity

[21:22] to see yourself not just stood in

[21:25] Thibodaux but as the entire humanity

[21:30] is a challenge yes it's not impersonal

[21:33] but we will control it people away in

[21:39] humanity will change per happy this time

[21:45] we will respect nature we will respect

[21:52] or planet earth or mother earth because

[21:57] we want to be also will be respect

[22:01] by the earth we are the earth we are the

[22:05] Sun we are love I am you you are me the

[22:12] DA humanity is only one living being

[22:17] this is good time

[22:21] to change to transform to change our

[22:24] world

[22:26] if their planet

[22:30] this virus hit entire planet

[22:34] and he it was really a miracle because

[22:38] he's putting all the humans together

[22:41] it has like never before or long time

[22:45] ago

[22:46] but not we can understand and see or

[22:49] brothers or sisters not just here in the

[22:51] States but in China and Italy in Japan

[22:56] you notice other countries that is being

[22:58] hit and we can see how science are

[23:02] working together to find a solution

[23:04] let's cooperate let that be the problem

[23:09] let's be part of the solution by taking

[23:13] care of herself

[23:14] take care of you because I love you

[23:18] because you love yourself take care of

[23:22] yourself once again with all my love to

[23:29] all of you in the will that this will

[23:32] not be the only time that we gonna do

[23:34] something like this we are not thinking

[23:37] to see how we create and to share with

[23:40] all of you that just our thoughts but

[23:42] our feelings or love

[23:46] because we're only one thank you my

[23:48] brothers and sisters I love you all

[23:54] right well I just want to say also to

[24:00] all of you that we love and are grateful

[24:03] to you we are grateful for the

[24:05] opportunity to share our tradition with

[24:08] you

[24:09] you

[24:11] the key to faith healing like my grandma

[24:14] Sarita used to do for many many years

[24:17] was intent and faith sometimes I

[24:22] describe it as the placebo effect in

[24:24] medicine if someone is sick you give him

[24:26] a sugar pill and for some reason that

[24:27] person heals the power of influence

[24:31] impeccability of the word has so much

[24:36] power that we can heal but if we're not

[24:40] careful

[24:42] imagine that gazebo effect in the

[24:44] opposite direction like my father

[24:47] suggested in the four agreements you

[24:49] look like you're about to have cancer

[24:50] and in a year you have it remember you

[24:53] wrote that yes I did well that's the

[24:55] placebo effect in the opposite direction

[24:58] we're all sin we see your headlines we

[25:01] look for the symptoms I have this one I

[25:04] don't have that one I have this one plus

[25:06] I mean I have it and there we have the

[25:09] panic and some of us are have a powerful

[25:11] word that we will move maybe not have

[25:15] that particular virus but make ourselves

[25:17] feel really miserable because that's the

[25:20] power of intent I think you see trifle

[25:23] faith again

[25:24] to have faith

[25:28] but to focus on faith in ourselves have

[25:33] faith in that you can make a change that

[25:36] you can create that you will not be

[25:38] started you will keep going because you

[25:42] have the power

[25:45] just build the power in yourselves and

[25:48] find a way he's one of us have to find a

[25:52] way to keep in our life and to do

[25:56] something for everybody around us I have

[26:01] faith in me he had paid himself you had

[26:05] to have paid in you you can do it like I

[26:09] say many long time ago if I can do it

[26:13] you can do it and if you can do it the

[26:16] entire humanity can do it then just less

[26:21] do it for as long as we're alive

[26:25] everything is possible that also means

[26:29] that any given moment all of us in

[26:31] humanity will have a moment of clarity

[26:34] and share with one another with one

[26:37] another compassion and respect that

[26:42] placebo effect comes because of the

[26:45] strength and power of our word will we

[26:49] use our word to create the most perfect

[26:51] nightmare and continue to share that

[26:54] poison that explosive downward spiral

[26:59] that we see on social media all the time

[27:02] or are we going to use our word to

[27:05] create healing to create community to

[27:08] say thank you now the other day someone

[27:12] knocked on our door and it was our

[27:14] neighbor just from from the street who

[27:16] has the same number as us but a

[27:18] different Street of cars the young man

[27:21] were somewhere in his 80s and he came

[27:23] knocking my door in our door to give us

[27:25] an envelope in these kind of times

[27:28] that's basically considered well a very

[27:31] daring moment because he's risking his

[27:33] life with his action but the smile in

[27:38] his face when we open and he gave us the

[27:40] envelope and told us to store

[27:43] of why he did it

[27:46] brother smart was and as a moment of

[27:49] encouraging compassion neighbors family

[27:54] and friends we do always do our best my

[28:00] father here he is very susceptible to

[28:02] this because he is a heart transplant

[28:07] recipient and a heart attack survivor

[28:11] his immune system is compromised yet he

[28:14] is still here and he's still doing the

[28:17] best he can

[28:19] it's called in time because we are our

[28:22] lives hope you have a wonderful Easter

[28:25] Sunday that you enjoy with everyone you

[28:29] love if not in person

[28:31] reach out call not just post something

[28:35] on social media

[28:37] let them hear your voice to say you're

[28:41] thinking of them

[28:43] that little that little gesture creates

[28:49] such a huge ripple effect and that's the

[28:55] resurrection of love of compassion of

[28:58] love and joy with all my love thank you

[29:04] for this great opportunity Jose we love

[29:07] you very much yes we do we miss you and

[29:11] I hope you have a lot of fun

Don Miguel Ruiz suggests viewing crisis as interrupting habitual patterns and forcing you to examine priorities. Rather than asking 'what will I do,' ask what you need to let go of and what genuinely matters. Adaptation and gratitude for life itself, even amidst loss, shift the nervous system from pure survival into creative possibility.
Don Miguel Ruiz Jr. teaches that the inner dialogue—between mind and heart, between conditioned beliefs and authentic self—is the template for all external relationships. When you stop the internal war and allow genuine communication between different parts of yourself, that coherence naturally extends to how you relate to others. They no longer become screens for your unhealed wounds.
Don Miguel Jr. distinguishes between accepting mortality and being paralyzed by it. Acceptance means integrating the fact that all things end—which actually clarifies priorities and deepens presence. Once death is no longer denied, it can be honored, and life becomes more vivid, more precious, less time wasted on performance and pretense.
He's referring not to a religious image but to the animating principle—the creative force that moves everything. Love, in this sense, is not sentiment but the fundamental coherence underlying existence. It's available in every moment you choose authentic connection, genuine presence, and honoring both yourself and others.
No. Don Miguel Jr. is clear that the virus is real and loss is real. What he addresses is our relationship to these facts. We cannot control whether people die, but we can control whether we amplify fear through denial or cultivate resilience through honest acknowledgment, care for those around us, and choices that align with our actual values rather than conditioned fears.
Begin by noticing the voices in your head that are not your own—the internalized demands of parents, society, institutions. Make a moment of clarity where you decide: no more performing. Then follow that clarity with action: speak a truth you've withheld, set a boundary, choose presence over habit. One healed internal conversation radiates outward.
He's not romanticizing suffering but suggesting that stripping away superficial structures—routines, consumption, pretense—can expose what genuinely matters and what no longer serves. The crisis forces reevaluation. Those who survive and integrate this lesson may emerge with different priorities, deeper compassion, and a less fragmented relationship with themselves and the world.
The resurrection of the mind, or redemption of the mind, is the reclamation of your own authority after it's been colonized by others' beliefs. It's the moment you stop being a puppet of internalized voices and start authoring your own reality. This is not selfish—it's the foundation for authentic connection and genuine healing.
